Bieber first announced the new song on Monday (Aug 14) in a Twitter post sharing the song artwork -- a black-and-white illustration of two birds fighting over a worm. Unbeknownst to fans, Bieber had presumably teased the track one day earlier, when he tweeted simply "Can we still be friends."

Justin Bieber's Purpose Tour merch, created alongside Fear of God's Jerry Lorenzo, was a huge success last year, rivaling designs from Kanye West, Drake, and others who tapped steetwear designers and used pop-up shops to deliver their merch to fans. But with a bigger tour comes bigger merch, and Bieber has unveiled a new collection that coincides with his first-ever stadium tour. The upcoming collection features graphic T-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, sweatshirts, athletic shorts, sweatpants and more."

If f you walked into any clothing store at the mall, the odds that you could find a white T-shirt are pretty high. But when Karla Welch began styling Justin Bieber's Believe tour in 2012, she remembers that Justin "wanted a really specific long T-shirt, and it wasn't in the marketplace at all." So she decided to make a white tee for the singer to perform in.

Now the Canadian pop singer has teamed with French EDM king David Guetta. "Justin has such a unique voice and I have so much respect for his talent but also for his choices," says Guetta in a statement. "He took some risks reinventing himself lately in such a cool amazing creative way.I'm very proud to finally share a record with him. I feel like '2U' is an incredible combination of emotion energy with a huge melody combined with edgy sounds."
